The new Holy Chapel of the ayala campus is a nod to St. John’s history, taking direct inspiration from a symbol that has become almost universal with Johnian values; the Queen of Peach Church arches.
The new chapel is an expression of a vernacular long established with the old campus, making a foundation of meaning that is already rooted at every Johnian’s heart. It’s unique design is moderninterpretation of the classic church’s concrete architecture, using the same methodology to express its shell. And at the center, is a small courtyard that acts a background garden to the chapel sanctuary.
